Category 1 CME

AAPA Category 1 CME is now available for Environmental Exposure Informed Care For Veterans on AAPA CME Central. This activity was developed by the AAPA and SOVDEPA. It discusses toxic environmental exposures unique to military personnel and medical conditions that are presumptively caused by toxic exposures based on the PACT Act. Resources and a quick reference guide are included to assist in providing informed care for Veterans regarding environmental exposures incurred during military service.

Conditions Presumed To Be Caused By Military Service Under The PACT Act

This quick reference guide was created by SOVDEPA and was last updated in February 2025. The guide will be updated as new presumptive conditions are added by the VA under the PACT Act. These handouts provide next steps for Veterans interested in filing a claim related to the PACT Act or wanting to connect with the VA regarding their military toxic exposure concerns.

The CFR contains detailed lists of conditions subject to presumptive service connection, depending on the timeframe when a Veteran served.
